Who this applies to
This policy applies to TattooDekho customers, artists, studios, applicants, website visitors and anyone who contacts us for support, privacy requests, refunds or account help.
Information we collect

Account and login details such as mobile number, OTP verification status, profile name, age or date of birth where collected, role and account status.
•
Booking details such as selected tattoo design, style, body placement, size, appointment date, time window, address, notes to artist and booking history.
•
Location or service-area information when needed to show availability, assign nearby artists, estimate travel time or support in-home appointments.
•
Payment information such as amount, currency, booking ID, payment status, refund status and payment-provider reference. We do not store full card, UPI PIN or banking credentials.
•
Customer support messages, refund requests, reviews, ratings, uploaded references, portfolio images and artist or studio verification information.
•
Device and app information such as push notification tokens, app version, device type, logs and basic security signals used to operate and protect the service.
How we use information

To create and secure accounts, verify OTP login and keep user profiles accurate.

To show tattoo designs, match bookings with verified artists or studios, confirm appointment availability and provide support.
•
To process payments, refunds, discounts, invoices, disputes and booking status updates.
•
To send transactional SMS, push notifications, email or in-app messages about OTPs, bookings, payments, artist updates and account requests.

To detect fraud, abuse, unsafe bookings, policy violations, account misuse and security incidents.
•
To improve catalog quality, artist operations, customer experience, reliability and app performance.
Analytics and session insights
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we use analytics and session-insight tools, including Google / Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These record how you use the app — for example screens viewed, taps, scrolls, searches and where problems occur — and may include content shown or entered on those screens, together with device and app information. To protect your account, the sign-in and verification screens — including your phone number and one-time passcode — stay masked and are not captured, and we do not capture passwords or full payment card details. This information is processed by these providers on our behalf under their own terms; please see Microsoft’s and Google’s privacy statements for more detail.
Consent and choices
Where consent is required, we use your information for the purpose explained at the time of collection. You can withdraw consent or request correction, access or deletion by using the app where available or contacting support@tattoodekho.com. Some processing may continue when needed for bookings, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute handling.
Sharing information

Assigned artists and studios receive booking details needed to perform the service, such as design, placement, address, time window and customer notes.

Service providers may process data for hosting, database, storage, OTP/SMS, push notifications, payments, analytics, monitoring, fraud prevention and customer support.

Payment providers process payment details under their own security and compliance controls.
•
Authorities, advisors or counterparties may receive information when required by law, dispute resolution, safety investigation, rights protection or business transfer.
Artists, studios and public content
Artist names, studio names, service areas, portfolios, ratings, reviews and profile information may be displayed publicly or to customers so they can discover and book services. Customers should avoid posting private, sensitive or third-party information in reviews or messages.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Booking, payment, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, legal and dispute records may be retained for longer where required or reasonably necessary. Account deletion requests are handled through the Delete Account page.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as authenticated access, role-based permissions, validation, rate limits, secure storage where appropriate and restricted operational access. No internet service is risk-free, so users should keep their device and OTP access secure.
Children and age requirements
TattooDekho is intended for users who can lawfully book tattoo services in their location. We may cancel or refuse bookings where age, consent, guardian approval or safety requirements are not satisfied.
